The 2015 Chevy Trax was unveiled today in New York.

At the New York International Auto Show today, Chevrolet announced that the 2015 Chevy Trax will join the Bowtie Brand’s ever-growing small-vehicle lineup. The small SUV, the seventh small vehicle launched by Chevy in the last four years, takes the agility and efficiency of a small car and blends it perfectly with the versatility and convenience of an SUV.

The all-new 2015 Chevy Trax offers 48.4 cubic feet of cargo space and will be available with OnStar 4G LTE, MyLink technology with the segment’s only 7-inch color touchscreen, a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, and the class’ first Siri Eyes Free integration.

“Trax offers customers another option in the Chevrolet family and will be a strong competitor in the emerging small-SUV market, which is expected to grow more than 80 percent by 2016,” said Alan Batey, General Motors senior vice president, Global Chevrolet. “Trax also leverages our global resources and builds on Chevrolet’s strong SUV heritage.”

The exterior of the 2015 Chevy Trax will be marked by swept headlamps and a dual-port grille with chrome accents. Fog lamps and simulated front and rear skid plates are available to generate a sportier look for the Trax. Drivers can choose among ten exterior color options: Black Granite Metallic, Blaze Red, Brilliant Blue Metallic, Deep Espresso Metallic, Orange Rock Metallic, Ruby Red Metallic, Satin Steel Metallic, Silver Ice Metallic, Summit White, and White Pearl Tricoat.

The fresh and innovative design continues to the interior, which includes a dual-cockpit instrument panel to house the display for MyLink as well as displays available for SiriusXM and the standard rearview camera. The instrument cluster carries over from the Sonic, with a large tachometer and a small-diameter, thick-rimmed steering wheel.

The 2015 Chevy Trax also features 60/40 flat-folding rear seats with a fold-down armrest with cup holders. Storage is optimized in all four doors, as well as the four bins in the dash, the pockets in the seatbacks, and even bins located under the rear load floor. There’s also a hidden storage drawer under the front passenger seat.
