Audi is on a winning streak — for the 10th time at the World Car Award, the brand with four rings has taken home the top prize. Previous award-winning models have included the A8, R8, A6, and TT, but this year, it was time for the Audi A7 Sportback to take center stage.
This honor didn’t come lightly — a jury of 86 members from 24 countries voted to determine the best new luxury car on the market, and the Audi A7 Sportback drove away the winner. Panelists cited its spaciousness, versatility, and its athletic sloping roofline. This is the second consecutive win for Audi at the World Car Awards.

The Audi A7 Sportback balances power and efficiency. It comes standard with Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle technology and a 3.0-liter TFSI® V6 engine that delivers 335 horsepower. On the inside, it comes standard with leather seating surfaces, heated eight-way power front seats, voice-controlled MMI® Navigation, a six-month trial subscription to Audi connect® PRIME and Audi connect® PLUS online services, a 10-speaker sound system, and smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™.
Higher trim levels receive four-zone automatic climate control, sound-blocking dual pane acoustic glass, heated and ventilated 12-way power front seats, a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen® 3D Premium Sound System, and the Audi phone box, which boosts cell phone signal and wirelessly charges compatible devices.
