The all-new fifth-generation 2021 Escalade is the most anticipated offering for the brand. The exterior borrows style cues from its smaller sibling, the XT6.

The interior exudes the sophistication and connectivity you’ve come to expect from the model. Cadillac has outfitted the SUV with a 36-speaker audio system as well as 38-inch-long curved OLED displays on the dash.

Under the hood, you can go with either a 6.2-liter V8 engine or the newly available Duramax turbodiesel inline-six. It also incorporates a new multi-link independent rear suspension.

Per Autowise contributor Nikola Potrebic, you can select Magnetic Ride Control for a smoother driving experience when you go with a higher trim level. Starting in early 2021, the brand will also offer Super Cruise hands-free driver-assistance for even more convenience when driving.

The Cadillac XT6 gets a handful of fresh updates for the 2021 model year. You now have two engines to choose from, the 2.0-liter turbo or 3.6-liter V6.

The automaker has also added 20-inch 12-spoke Diamond-Cut wheels with Dark Android satin pockets and wireless smartphone mirroring. And there are two new paint colors available for the exterior: Wilder Metallic and Dark Moon Blue Metallic.

2021 XT5 and XT4

The automaker’s smaller SUVs, the XT5 and XT4, get subtle tweaks. The XT5 now has available Rear Pedestrian Alert and the Parking Assist tool now has automatic braking. Cadillac has added wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to make each journey more fun.

The XT4 gets two new paint color choices. The Sport version gets red brake calipers as well as side mirror-integrated turn-signal indicators, while the Premium Luxury trim gets this second feature. A power liftgate is now standard on all trims. And if you go with the base trim, you can add on the Driver Awareness Package and leather seating.

2021 CT5 and CT4

If you prefer the brand’s sedans to its SUVs, the CT5 and CT4 models have some new features that make it worth your consideration.

Both sedans now include a 12-inch gauge cluster display and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. When it comes to customization, you now have one more option: the available Diamond Sky Special Edition package. Super Cruise will be available on the CT5 and CT4 models in the early part of 2021.

For the CT5, you can get a new V-Performance package when you go with a Sport trim. This package features a limited-slip differential, magnetic ride control, and performance suspension. The CT4, on the other hand, gets standard automatic emergency braking and available Brembo front brakes.
