The 2018 model is upgrading its powertrain with an available nine-speed automatic transmission with the 3.6-liter V6 engine and AWD available on the Essence. The exterior is more customizable this year with three new exterior colors (Satin Steel Metallic, Dark Slate Metallic, and Red Quartz Tintcoat). 2018 Buick Regal TourX
A branch of the Buick Regal, the 2018 Buick Regal TourX is all-new for the 2018 model year. Its body sits higher off the ground than the Regal Sportback and it comes with standard intelligent all-wheel drive (AWD) and roof rails. Capability is the primary focus for the TourX with five-passenger seating and up to 73.5 cubic feet of cargo space.
2018 Buick Regal Sportback
Alongside the TourX, Buick is introducing the 2018 Buick Regal Sportback to this year’s lineup. This Regal holds a sportier stance than the TourX, with a coupe-inspired design and enhanced performance. The Regal Sportback offers a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 250 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque when equipped with front-wheel drive (FWD) and a stronger 295 lb-ft of torque when equipped with all-wheel drive (AWD).
2018 Buick Regal GS
The third option in the Regal trio is the 2018 Buick Regal GS. The GS is a premium sports sedan with an even stronger powertrain than its 2018 counterparts. The GS comes with an all-new 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 310 horsepower and 282 lb-ft of torque. Performance brakes, a sport-tuned exhaust system, and the inclusion of GS and Sport modes make the Regal GS a strong performance vehicle with thrill behind the wheel.
