2013 Chevrolet Spark EV Overview
What’s New for the 2013 Chevrolet Spark EV
The Chevrolet Spark EV is a brand new addition to the Chevy line-up for the 2013 model year.
2013 Chevrolet Spark EV Exterior
The Chevrolet Spark EV is a small four-door hatchback, and with its unique and unconventional exterior color choices, the Spark is certainly a cheerful little ride. Ideal for getting around the city anywhere- parking garages, small alleys, you name it.
Being the smallest car in the Chevrolet line-up is no easy task, and big features make up for its seemingly tiny size. The exterior is fairly basic until you reach the 2LT trim level, where fog lights, roof rails, sporty front and rear fascia treatments, and chrome trim come standard.
2013 Chevrolet Spark EV Performance
If fuel efficiency is your priority, speed is probably not. Electric vehicles aren’t necessarily known for their power, but you can rest assured this car is as good as it gets for a small EV. The Spark EV spins out an impressive 105 kw (140 hp) and 400 lb-ft of torque. That’s right: 400 lb-ft.
2013 Chevrolet Spark EV Efficiency
This is one case in which you can get the best of both worlds: an incredibly efficient car that has some serious muscle behind it. The Spark EV is promised to travel 82 miles on a single charge, which is generally more than enough for most every-day commutes.
2013 Chevrolet Spark EV Interior
The interior reflects the simple and modern design of the exterior, with color accents that pop on the dash and door panels. The Spark EV’s dash is easy to navigate with sporty gauges.
Chevrolet saved room where they could, and placed the battery under the cargo bay and rear seat. The placement doesn’t reduce interior cargo room at all.
2013 Chevrolet Spark EV Safety
Standard safety features include four-wheel disk brakes, traction and stability control, hill-hold assist, front and rear side airbags and full-length curtain airbags, OnStar and front-seat knee airbags.
