2014 Chevrolet Silverado High Country Overview
What’s New for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado High Country
The Chevrolet Silverado High Country is a special edition model of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado.
2014 Chevrolet Silverado High Country Exterior
You might think the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado is flashy, but you haven’t seen anything until you get that first glimpse of the Silverado High Country. While the exterior looks a whole lot like the body of the regular Silverado, its chrome-finished grille and High Country badging helps it stand apart, adding a touch of class to the pickup’s rugged good looks.
2014 Chevrolet Silverado High Country Performance
Though its exterior and interior are both a lot fancier than the traditional Silverado, the 2014 High Country’s powertrain remains the same. A 5.3-liter V8 churns out 355 horsepower, while Chevrolet’s EcoTec3 technology makes it more fuel efficient than ever before. The top-notch 6.2-liter V8 is available as an option, churning out 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.
2014 Chevrolet Silverado High Country Efficiency
With its EcoTec3 technology, the High Country with its 5.3-liter engine gets an impressive EPA-estimated 23 mpg highway, a number previously not seen from a V8.
2014 Chevrolet Silverado High Country Interior
Where the High Country truly differs from its base brethren is in its cabin. The high-end pickup brings some Western flair into its interior with perforated, saddle-brown leather and High Country logos adorning the front headrests. The front seats are both heated and cooled, while also providing the ultimate comfort, making the seats like a king’s throne. When it comes to technology, the High Country doesn’t mess around with an 8-inch touchscreen interface to control Chevrolet’s MyLink infotainment system and a Bose sound system providing premium sound.
2014 Chevrolet Silverado High Country Safety
Like the traditional Chevrolet Silverado, the High Country features a multitude of safety features, such as a rear vision camera, Trailer Sway Control, and StabiliTrack.
