2014 Corvette Stingrays Finally Hits Dealers
It’s been a very long time coming, but now, the 2014 Corvette Stingrays finally hits dealers soon. And we can prove it—just take a look at these pictures of the Stingrays being shipped out on car carriers, destined for dealerships around the country.
GM is just as excited about the Corvette Stingray’s release as the customers are, according to Dave Tatman, the plant manager of GM’s Bowling Green Assembly plant. “It’s an amazing sight to see the transporters filled with Stingrays heading to customers in all corners of the country. The pride at Bowling Green is overwhelming.”
Tatman is right to be proud of the Stingray—the car is a great product, a sports car with excellent fuel economy and, of course, huge power. The Stingray starts at $51,000 MSRP, maxes out at 460 horsepower, and still pulls down 29 mpg on highway. Keep a look out for one of those car carriers transporting Stingrays to the dealers—then follow it until it stops and you can get your hands on one yourself.
