2015 Navigator Earns Vincentric Best Value in America Award
On the heels of earning the five-star Overall Vehicle Score from NHTSA and earning a spot on The Car Book’s 2015 Best Bets list, the 2015 Lincoln Navigator took home not one but two trophies in Vencentric’s 2015 Best Value in America™ awards.
The 2015 Navigator was named tops in the premium large SUV category in both the consumer and fleet awards. In both instances, the Navigator comes out on top for providing more value than its competition according to Vincentric’s standard for defining a vehicle’s worth. Vincentric assigns every vehicle it analyzes an assumed cost-of-ownership that is comprised of eight different categories: depreciation, taxes and fees, financing, fuel cost, insurance, maintenance, repairs, and opportunity cost (presumably how much time driving a particular vehicle would save).
Additionally, the 2015 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid won a Best Fleet Value in America award for the premium mid-size hybrid sedan category. Both the Navigator and the MKZ Hybrid were repeat winners in the fleet awards.
Significantly improved for 2015, the Navigator offers best-in-class towing at 9,000 pounds, and its 3.5-liter EcoBoost® engine produces 380 horsepower while returning an EPA-estimated 18 combined mpg.
