2015 Subaru Impreza Represents All-Wheel Drive on ‘10 Coolest New Cars Under $18,000’ List
The MAZDA3 might hold the distinction of having been named to the “10 Coolest New Cars Under $18,000” list every single year that Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com has put it out, but the 2015 Subaru Impreza, which made the list this year, holds its own distinction. The Impreza was the only car on this year’s list to include all-wheel drive as standard equipment, which is pretty cool indeed.

Other models on the “10 Coolest New Cars Under $18,000” list this year include the MAZDA3 (no surprise there), Volkswagen Golf, Kia Soul, Jeep Renegade, Honda Civic Coupe, Ford Fiesta, Honda Fit, Chevrolet Sonic, and the Fiat 500.
According to Kelley Blue Book, to make the list, a car had to be fun-to-drive and fun-to-own. And they had to be under $18,000, of course.
KBB said of the Impreza: “The only vehicle on this list to include all-wheel drive as standard equipment, and one of our 10 Best All-Wheel-Drive Cars Under $25,000—Subaru’s compact car gets even cooler as it gets colder.”

The all-new Impreza is certainly cool in my book too. Color me Imprezzed. (And forgive me that joke.)
