2016 Fiat 500 Facelift Revealed Overseas
When Fiat first made its debut on American soil, it turned the US car industry on its head. Now, Fiat is looking to spice things up even more with the debut of the 2016 Fiat 500, which is the recipient of a rather dashing facelift.
The Italian carmaker has gone ahead and made almost 1,800 detailed changes to the 2016 Fiat 500 model, keeping the compact car fresh. These changes aren’t noticeable at first, but if you’re really good at the “Spot the Difference” picture game, you’ll notice them quickly.
Though the car’s basic silhouette is the same, it has a fresh new set of bumpers and headlight graphics, adding a touch of European sophistication to the new model. Additional front lighting also adds to the Fiat’s “I’m surprised!” front look, giving the compact car a unique, funky feel.
Inside the 2016 Fiat 500’s cabin, a clean and modern design comes together with a slick, European feel. While it’s obvious that the 500 is looking to appeal to its largest audience of young urban dwellers, it does so in such a sleek way that no one’s going to complain. One of the most notable characteristics, though, is an optional circular instrument cluster nestled behind the wheel, which displays both trip information and media displays.
Right now, the 2016 Fiat 500 is set to go on sale in the United Kingdom sometime in September. The 500’s American debut is set to come soon.
