The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is a classic pickup from an all-American brand, but there are a few new additions to the 2018 model. The custom model is now available in a crew cab, making it even easier to get the Silverado you’ve always wanted. For added technology and safety, a rear view camera now comes standard across all trim levels. Plus, drivers can enjoy a standard 7-inch MyLink radio system on the WT.

2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Performance

There are three available engines on the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Standard on the base trim is a 4.3-liter EcoTech3 V6 engine. This engine earns 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque. The next engine up is a 5.3-liter EcoTech3 V8 engine, earning 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Both the 4.3-liter and the 5.3-liter engines are paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. The top engine level is a 6.2-liter EcoTech3 V8 engine, paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. This engine boasts 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.
