What’s New for the 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD?

For the 2018 model year, the GMC Sierra 2500HD adds several exterior colors for the crew cab models: Deep Mahogany Metallic, Red Quartz Tintcoat, and White Frost Tintcoat. Safety and technology features were also added as standards, including a rear-vision camera, a MyLink 7-inch radio system, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System with a tire fill alert. The Denali also features a redesigned grille for a bold entrance.

The 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD is available in four trims: 2500HD, SLE, SLT, and Denali.

2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD Exterior

With a newly designed grille on the Denali, the 2018 Sierra 2500HD offers a distinct look. Three new exterior colors make the Sierra even more customizable, and each trim level offers its own distinguishing set of wheels. Standard wheels on the base trim are 17-inch painted steel wheels, and the styles transform all the way up to the 20-inch chromed aluminum wheels on the Denali.

The 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD is available in eight exterior colors: Onyx Black, Quicksilver Metallic, Summit White, Stone Blue Metallic, Cardinal Red, Dark Slate Metallic, Deep Mahogany Metallic, and Red Quartz Tintcoat.

As a heavy-duty pickup, the GMC Sierra 2500HD packs a punch under the hood. Standard across its trims is a Vortec^® 6.0-liter V8 engine, producing 360 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. For extra heavy-duty towing, drivers can opt for a Duramax^® 6.6-liter Turbodiesel V8 engine, exuding 445 horsepower and a stagger 910 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired to a six-speed automatic transmission.

2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD Interior

The 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD is built to perform, but that’s not all it has to offer. The cabin of the Sierra comes standard with several advanced technologies, including a rear-vision camera and a 7-inch diagonal GMC Infotainment System. Drivers also have the option to upgrade their interior, adding features like a built-in 4G WiFi hotspot, Remote Keyless Entry, and wireless charging. The Denali also offers an upgraded 8-inch screen with added Navigation on its GMC Infotainment System.

The 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD is available in three interior colors: Jet Black, Jet Black/Dark Ash, and Cocoa/Dune.
