Efficiency
While some sedans emphasize agile performance at the expense of fuel conservation, the 2019 Malibu isn’t one of them. The 1.5-liter turbocharged engine attains 29 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway. For peak efficiency, however, opt for the Hybrid trim, which achieves an impressive 49 mpg in the city and 43 mpg on the highway
