The reasoning behind the award win
The editors of the Motor Trend magazine in China took on the responsibility of organizing the 2020 China Awards Ceremony. In order to receive the China SUV of the Year award at the event, the 2020 Cadillac XT6 had to perform well during four months of testing as well as an analysis process. The judges were made up of automotive experts, including representatives from automotive engineering faculties, like the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
The SUV won against multiple other finalists for performing well in different evaluation categories, which included Appearance and technology, Propulsion System, Configuration and Space, and Safety performance. Judges also considered the Cadillac XT6 to be a valuable and important vehicle on the market.
The Cadillac XT6 is an ideal family vehicle with a spacious cabin for up to seven passengers and many safety technologies. “The Cadillac XT6 won the 2020 China SUV award for its good performance in all aspects. The utility vehicle subtly combines the essence of large American cars with comfort, excellent handling and a high level of safety,” said the jury in a press release.
