Chevrolet is expanding its truck and SUV offerings, and that means the death of venerable sedans like the Impala, Cruze, and Volt. But there’s still room aplenty for sedans in many global markets including Mexico, where the 2020 Chevrolet Onix is slated to arrive next year.

The all-new Chevy Onix brings with it a lineup of three-cylinder turbocharged engines, which may be the 1.2-liter and 1.3-liter engines rumored for the upcoming Buick Encore GX. Chevy is promising that these engines will deliver “unmatched horsepower in the segment” as well as dynamic handling thanks to its suspension.
