Every trim except the L is available with either FWD or AWD. The Traction Mode Select feature allows drivers to switch between multiple settings depending on driving conditions and preferences. Most Traverse models can tow up to 1,500 pounds, except the High Country, which is rated for 5,000 pounds.

With seven different trims, the 2020 Traverse offers highly customizable looks. Standard features include 18-inch aluminum wheels, heated power mirrors, High-Intensity Discharge headlamps, and LED taillamps. For a unique look, opt for 20-inch wheels with a variety of accent and paint options, assist steps, a power sunroof, chrome or black accents, and special badging. For an eye-catching blacked-out look, consider the sporty RS or the Premier trim’s Redline Edition.
The 2020 Traverse can seat up to eight passengers or fit up to 98.2 cubic feet of cargo with both rear rows folded down. Add extra flexibility with the available SmartSlide second-row seat and power-folding third row. There’s also an available hands-free gesture liftgate for easier loading and unloading. Passengers can rely on plenty of comfortable conveniences inside the Traverse, including tri-zone automatic climate control; Active Noise Cancellation; and available seating upgrades like leather trim, power adjustability, heating, and ventilation.
The 2020 Traverse’s new Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system comes with a 7-inch color touch screen, Bluetooth audio streaming, enhanced voice recognition, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, and two USB ports in each row. Premium infotainment upgrades for the Traverse include an 8-inch touch screen with navigation, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, and a rear dual-screen entertainment system with a DVD player
