A Stunning Lineup: Best Lexus models for 2019
Reduced weight
The 2020 Lexus RC F Track Edition weighs 176 pounds less than previous models. With its 472-horsepower V8 engine, it’s got the best power-to-weight ratio in its class. But don’t worry — the Track Edition hasn’t been crash dieting. It shed those pounds by using better and lighter Brembo carbon ceramic brake rotors and a titanium muffler — something rarely seen on a production car. The unique acoustic characteristics of titanium give the Sport Edition give it a satisfying sound over the entire rev range.
Aerodynamic upgrades
For nimbler handling and better predictability, the 2020 Lexus RC F Track Edition has decreased lift at both the front and rear of the car. Up front, the car sports a carbon fiber front splitter and a lip spoiler, while at the rear, it comes with a carbon fiber rear wing that cuts down on both lift and drag. Thanks to these improved aerodynamics, the 2020 Lexus RC F Track Edition clocks in with a 0-to-60 mph in 3.96 seconds, boasting a top speed of 168 mph.
Design
On the outside, the Track Edition only comes in two colors: Ultra White and Matte Nebula Gray, the latter of which is exclusive to the Track Edition. It also comes with a carbon fiber roof, hood, and fixed rear wing. It also sports stainless steel exhaust tips, coated in a blue finish for a stylish signature look.
The 2020 Lexus RC F Track Edition boasts exclusive styling on the inside, too. There’s plenty of eye-catching color in the cabin, like the red carbon trim on the doors and dashboard, and red carpeting. It also comes standard with Circuit Red leather-trimmed seats, crafted with ultra-soft Alcantara accents. There’s even Alcantara trim on the center console and armrests for an even more luxurious driving experience.
