2020 Lincoln Aviator Arrives in Canada
The much-anticipated 2020 Lincoln Aviator is rolling out to dealerships across Canada in July, promising to bolster the luxury brand’s Q3 sales after it saw considerable utility vehicle gains in the second quarter.
Unlike its American counterpart, the Canadian Lincoln Aviator is currently only available in the Reserve trim. The Aviator Grand Touring, the plug-in hybrid variant expected to deliver 450 horsepower and over 600 lb-ft of torque, is likely to arrive in later summer or early fall. The 2020 Lincoln Aviator Reserve is offered exclusively with all-wheel drive and the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 paired with the 10-speed SelectShift automatic with paddle activation, delivering 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque and returning 9.7 liters/100 km on the highway.

The 2020 Lincoln Aviator Reserve also features standard Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Plus, the most comprehensive version of the innovative safety suite. Included in Co-Pilot360 Plus are Evasive Steering Assist, Active Park Assist Plus, Traffic Jam Assist, and Reverse Brake Assist as well as features like Blind Spot Information System and Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection.
Also offered with the new Aviator is Phone As A Key technology, which allows drivers to use their Lincoln Way app to remotely start, lock and unlock, and open the hands-free liftgate of the vehicle using your smartphone. The Aviator Reserve also gets the Illumination Package, which includes LED Multi-Projector Headlamps and an LED-illuminated Lincoln Star logo at the center of the grille. The piece de resistance: The Reserve also includes the 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D Audio System.
The 2020 Lincoln Aviator Reserve starts at CA$75,000, and the upcoming Grand Touring will start at CA$81,000.
