Lincoln has announced a range of updates for its new 2020 Navigator, and the most interesting of the bunch is the addition of a new Monochromatic Package option for the Navigator Reserve. With this package, the 2020 Lincoln Navigator Reserve can be had in three distinct exterior color schemes: Pristine White, Ceramic Pearl, and Infinite Black. The idea behind the Monochromatic Package is simplicity, inspired in part by fashion and home décor trends.

“The monochromatic palette emphasizes the strong lines of the Navigator,” said Earl Lucas, Lincoln chief designer. “It’s a perfect color scheme for a full-size luxury SUV, and it offers clients another way to personalize their new Navigator.”

Backing up the move is a report from trend forecaster WGSN, which says that a simplified color scheme “may permit the viewer to take notice.” Well, that’s good to know! With the 2020 Lincoln Navigator Reserve Monochromatic Package, you are permitted to take notice.

Additional updates for the 2020 Lincoln Navigator include the addition of Phone As A Key and Lincoln Co-Pilot360 as standard technology, giving the new Navigator a boost in terms of accessibility and safety. The former debuts in the new Lincoln Aviator and allows you to remotely access your Navigator via the Lincoln Way app, enabling you do everything from open the liftgate to remotely start and drive your Navigator with your phone. The latter is Lincoln’s suite of advanced driver-assist safety technologies, including features like Dynamic Brake Support, Forward Collision Warning, and Lane-Keeping System.

“Purposeful technology is an integral part of today’s lifestyle,” said Trevor Scott, marketing manager, The Lincoln Motor Company. “By bringing more Lincoln signature technologies to our most popular vehicles like Navigator, we continue to differentiate ourselves from competition and offer our clients features that help make the daily drive experience effortless.”

The 2020 Lincoln Navigator rolls into dealerships nationwide in November.
