New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade & Fireworks
Whether you’re a bystander or participant, you’re sure to have fun at the New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade & Fireworks in Alta. Young skiers who wish to join in the processional must be between the ages of 5 and 14 years old and have mastered the basics of the sport. The Kid’s Glowstick Parade starts at 4:30 p.m., followed by the Adult’s Torchlight Parade at 5:45 p.m. Fireworks will follow the adult’s parade for the night’s grand finale.
Steampunk Wonderland NYE
Join the Yellowstone Burners nonprofit art group on Dec. 31 for the second annual Steampunk Wonderland at the Cody Club Room on 1240 Beck Ave in Cody. As its name implies, this quirky celebration pays homage to Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. Enjoy food and drink as you mingle with other guests, do some dancing, and check out the art space. Proceeds from the event go to the Yellowstone Burners to help fund their activities.
New Year’s Eve Party at Saratoga Hot Springs Resort
Don a costume then head to Saratoga Hot Springs Resort’s “Under the Big Top” New Year’s Eve celebration on Dec. 31. This year’s party is carnival-themed, featuring an aerial artist, circus-style concessions, magicians, and music. Feast on a plated dinner while you wave goodbye to 2019 with those you love.
