Costco Auto Program Offers Discounts on Three Volkswagen SUVs

The Costco Auto Program promotion covers three Volkswagen SUVs for the 2026 model year: the Tiguan, Atlas, and Atlas Cross Sport.

Executive Costco members can save $1,250, while Gold Star and Business members receive a $1,000 discount. The incentive is stackable with other Volkswagen offers, allowing eligible buyers to combine available promotions. Vehicles must be delivered by September 14, 2026, for customers to qualify for the program.

Pricing for the Eligible 2026 Volkswagen Models

The 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan starts at $32,280, including the $1,475 destination charge. The model was fully redesigned for the 2025 model year, and Volkswagen added the Tiguan R-Line Turbo variant equipped with a 268-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.

The 2026 Atlas carries a starting price of $40,785, while the Atlas Cross Sport starts at $39,775. The 2026 Atlas represents the final model year before the arrival of an updated version for 2027.

Volkswagen Continues to Face Sales Declines

Volkswagen has experienced declining sales for several months. According to Motor1, the automaker recorded a 13.0 percent sales decline during 2025, with every model except the electric ID.4 posting double-digit losses.

The trend continued into 2026. Through the first three months of the year, Volkswagen‘s overall sales were down 16.1 percent. During the same period, Tiguan sales increased by 55.2 percent, while Atlas sales declined by 3.2 percent and Atlas Cross Sport sales fell by 6.9 percent.

Costco has previously partnered with several automakers through its Auto Program, including Chevrolet for the Corvette, expanding its vehicle discount offerings beyond Volkswagen.
