Aston Martin Lagonda Taraf Now Available in Europe
When the mysterious Aston Martin Lagonda was launched in Dubai last year, it was announced that it would only be offered in the Middle East. Countless tears were spilt in cups of tea that day in the United Kingdom upon the realization that the most luxurious super saloon produced by the esteemed British luxury car maker would not even grace the streets of its mother country and would have the steering wheel on the wrong side.
Well, the new CEO of Aston Martin, Dr. Andy Palmer, has corrected these incredible mistakes made by his predecessor.
The Lagonda Taraf will now be offered to clients in the UK, continental Europe, and South Africa, and has even been re-engineered to allow Brits to control the vehicle from the right side of the car, where they are most comfortable doing so.
“Opening up the Lagonda Taraf to an increased number of customers around the world was a high priority for me as soon as I joined Aston Martin late last year. I wanted to be able to offer this exceptional saloon to the potential owners from around the globe who have been enquiring about it, and I’m very happy that we have been able to expand the Lagonda proposition,” said Palmer.
The ultra-exclusive Lagonda will be produced in extremely limited numbers of no more than 200 vehicles. The Lagonda is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine and offers a list of options so vast that Aston Martin won’t even announce a price tag. Buyers will be able to build their sedans however the hell they want them, and each vehicle will have no other produced exactly like it.
