Audi has announced specs for the all-new 2020 S7, a high-performance five-passenger sedan that performs similarly to the Porsche Panamera GTS, but with a much lower price tag.

The new S7 uses a new 2.9-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 engine to produce 444 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque, as well as a 48-volt mild hybrid system designed to reduce turbo lag. Power is delivered to all four wheels via the usual quattro AWD system and an eight-speed automatic. That all adds up to a 0-60 mph time of about 4.5 seconds.

This is slower than the less expensive Audi S6, but performance is just one side of the S7 and its executive car aspirations. Standard features include leather sport seats with diamond stitching, four-zone automatic climate control, a dual-touchscreen system with navigation, a top-view 360-degree camera system, a fully digital instrument cluster, and a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system.

For extra driving comfort, the S7 comes with standard S-tuned adaptive air suspension featuring various different driving profiles. If you get the S sport package, you’ll also get dynamic all-wheel steering and a quattro differential, plus some nice visual flair like a sport exhaust system and red brake calipers, which are sure to look good behind the 21-inch, five-spoke anthracite wheels.

One cool available feature is the HD-Matrix-design LED headlights that use Audi’s laser light technology. The automaker says these are 30 percent more energy-efficient than standard LEDs. The 2020 S7 will also be offered with a full suite of standard and available driver assistance features including an adaptive cruise control system that can handle turns and traffic jams.
