Have you tuned into IGTV yet?

It’s almost Christmas and if you’re like me, you’re planning out what to watch on TV while you’re away from work for a few days. If Netflix and Hulu bore you — and you don’t want to give your hard-earned cash to The Mouse — you should head over to Instagram for all your automotive binge-watching needs. IGTV was first introduced in mid-2018 as a way for creators to present longer, vertical video content (for free!). Today, you can find a ton of auto-related videos, both vertical and horizontal, offering hours of entertainment; here are three of our favorites.

Supercar Blondie

Australian Alex Hirschi made her claim to fame by posting photos and videos of some of the most exotic vehicles in the world on her social media. Her Facebook page has nearly 10 million followers while her Instagram profile (supercarblondie) has over 5 million followers. Hirschi regularly posts videos to IGTV where she is seen getting in — and sometimes even driving — those luxury cars. Because of her incredible social presence, brands like Ferrari and Bugatti have done sponsored content with the influencer. She’s even made appearances on Top Gear, Grip, and is the host of Car Crews on Insight TV. You’ll want to be sure you watch her Valentine’s Day video where her husband presents her with quite the unforgettable gift. (Hint: It’s a car.)

Moms in Cars

Sometimes parents just need a break from their kids. That’s the comedic premise of Moms in Cars, starring Christine Lakin (Step by Step) and Deanna Pappas Stagliano (The Bachelorette). In the series, Lakin and Stagliano share funny stories of being working moms with young children. Some of their guest stars, who sit in the back seat and share stories and advice, have included Jodie Sweetin (Full House), Danielle Fishel (Boy Meets World), and Danica McKellar (The Wonder Years). For a hilarious combination of nostalgia and potentially questionable parenting advice, Moms in Cars is the way to go. The show is also a podcast, so if you’re not able to watch on IGTV, you can download episodes to listen to while you’re driving your car! (See what I did there?)

Bill’s Atomic Garage

William Turner, known as Atomic Bill, has a love of all things auto. He goes to car shows across the nation to meet and interview owners of some of the coolest cars around. From hot rods to customs, you’ll get to see a bunch of awesome old-school rides on his IGTV series and how they were modified. Some of the recent cars featured include a 1961 Studebaker as well as a 1958 Ford F-100. Bill’s Atomic Garage also makes it a point to showcase the culture that comes with owning and fixing up these classic cars. Atomic Bill will frequently feature rockabilly bands and well-known pinup girls on his channel.
