Recreating an icon
LEGO and Nissan truly outdid themselves when translating the Nissan GT-R into plastic brick format. Even Nissan’s chief product specialist, the man known as Mr. GT-R, has given the LEGO model his enthusiastic endorsement. He’s been a die-hard fan of the supercar since he was 10 years old, and working with the LEGO group on the project was a dream come true for him.
The LEGO Speed Champions Nissan GT-R NISMO set even recreates the model’s iconic taillights and includes many minute details that you’ll find in the real-life car. The kit contains 298 pieces and is set to go on sale in January 2020.
