Cadillac Announces New Trim, Colors, and Engine for 2021 XT6

With new exterior color options and a new trim level, the Cadillac XT6 offers a greater style for the 2021 model year. In 2020, the luxury crossover had two trim levels — Premium Luxury and Sport. The 2021 XT6 adds the Luxury trim as the model’s base option, followed by the Premium Luxury and Sport trims.

“The new Luxury model allows XT6 to cover the 20 percent of the midsize luxury SUV segment price range where new customers are typically entering the luxury crossover market,” reports Cadillac.
2021 Cadillac XT6 Luxury
Standard exterior features on the 2021 Cadillac XT6 Luxury trim include 18-inch wheels, heated outside mirrors, and a power liftgate. Standard features such as an 8-inch touch screen, heated front seats, tri-zone climate control, Jet Black leatherette upholstery, a six-way power driver’s seat, and ambient lighting outfit the interior of the 2021 XT6.
Also standard on the 2021 Cadillac XT6 is smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
A long list of advanced driver-assist technologies is standard on the 2021 XT6 Luxury. Parking is easier with Front and Rear Park Assist. Under proper conditions, Automatic Emergency Braking and Forward Collision Alert can help you avoid or mitigate an accident. You’ll stay safely between the lines with Lane Keep Assist and Lane Departure Warning.
Power upgrade
The Cadillac XT6 features a power upgrade for 2021. Available on last year’s models in the Chinese market, the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission offers 237 horsepower on the 2021 XT6 Luxury. (Several other Cadillac models including the CT5, CT4, XT4, and XT5 feature this engine). The available 3.6-liter LGX V6 engine generates 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque.
Color options
The Cadillac XT6 stands out on the road thanks to its sophisticated design. For 2021, you have three new exterior colors to choose from — Wilder, Dark Moon Blue Metallic, and Infrared Tintcoat.
