Cadillac’s 2015 US sales woes continued in March with another month of steady decline. Cadillac’s sales in the United States totaled 13,756 units, a 6.8% drop from 14,765 deliveries the year prior.

More from Cadillac: Cadillac CT6 March Reveal Planned for New Flagship Model

As has been the case in the first two months of 2015, Cadillac’s biggest growers have been the Escalade and Escalade ESV. March was no different with sales totaling 1,673 sales for Escalade and 1,085 sales for Escalade ESV, increases of 125.2% and 113.6% respectively.

The ATS and CTS were down double digits once again; the ATS totaled 2,039 sales but fell 31.6% year-over-year, and sales of the CTS were down nearly half at 1,500 units.

The XTS, which may or may not be on the verge of extinction with the reveal of the all-new CT6 flagship, was up 11.3% with sales totaling 2,367 units. The ELR, with 92 sales in March, was Cadillac’s only other model to make year-over-year gains.

On the whole, Cadillac’s sales in the US are down 6.1% in 2015, but the brand is quick to note that about 60% of all Cadillac buyers in 2015 have been new to the brand. With sunnier weather and exciting swirling around new models ahead, Cadillac still has a puncher’s chance to turn it around for the year.
