Chevrolet Expands Truck Legends Program Nationwide for Centennial Celebration
Chevrolet is celebrating 100 years of Chevrolet Trucks with a 100-day Centennial Celebration that will include special events taking place across the country and one big ol’ bash at the Texas Motor Speedway on December 16th. The brand is also marking the occasion by announcing plans to offer its Truck Legends program to select Chevy Truck owners nationwide.
The Truck Legends program originally launched in September of last year and grew to more than 5,400 members just in the state of Texas alone. Now, their ranks will no doubt grow exponentially with the community expanding to the entire United States.
“The lasting legacy of Chevy Trucks simply would not be possible without the support of our customers,” said Sandor Piszar, Chevrolet Trucks Marketing director. “As such, we are expanding the Truck Legends program nationwide to invite customers from all 50 states to join in our Centennial Celebration.”
“We had an incredible response to the Truck Legends pilot program, and greatly appreciate the owners who have shared their stories,” Piszar added. “We look forward to hearing from customers across the country, and for the opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to our most loyal customers.”
Qualifying for Truck Legends is simple enough: one need only have purchased or leased a new Chevrolet truck in their lifetime or have more than 100,000 on their current Chevy truck. Trucks eligible to be considered are the Silverado, Silverado HD, and other past C/K trucks; Colorado and S-10 trucks; Tahoe; Suburban; and Avalanche.
Member benefits include offers for everything from front-row concert seats, tickets to Major League Baseball games, exclusive looks at Chevy’s upcoming vehicles, and the possibility of taking part in the upcoming Chevy Trucks Centennial Celebration at Texas Motor Speedway.
