Chevrolet has a long-running history with selling its cars globally. In 1935, it sold the world’s first SUV in the Suburban Carryall. In nearly four decades — from 1980 to 2018 — the automaker has sold over 20 million SUVs worldwide.

About the new models

The Trailblazer bring its own character to the enriched Chevy lineup with its daring, animated design. It takes inspiration from the FNR-CarryAll concept SUV. It displays a bold body line and squinting LED headlights with a smooth top for its roof.

Coming with it is the new entry-level Chevrolet Tracker, which gears toward the Internet generation. It features U-shaped surface on its hood with full LED headlights underneath it. Its Redline model features a more dynamic exterior, wearing Chevy bowties in the front and back. It also includes 17-inch black 10-spoke wheel hubs and a classic black grille.

Chevrolet says that these two models only give customers more options to find the car that is right for them.

“Chevrolet has pivoted to a more youthful, fashionable, sporty and technological position, as its all-new products demonstrate,” said Scott Lawson, general director of Chevrolet for SAIC-GM. “With the Redline trim, Chevrolet is giving today’s consumers an even greater variety of products to cater to their individual needs and preferences.”

Both models are the next chapter for Chevrolet in China.

“With their lean muscularity, every member of the Chevrolet SUV family is reinforcing the brand’s focus on performance and capability,” said Stuart Norris, design director of global Chevrolet compact SUVs.
