Chevy Traverse Delivers Noteworthy Quiet Ride Says US News

“Active noise cancellation helps mitigate sounds of the Traverse’s V6 engine, which is newly standard for this model year. Previously, a four-cylinder was the base powertrain. That smaller engine was a little quieter, but the V6 isn’t terribly intrusive,” according to U.S. News & World Report researcher and writer Bryan Siwik.
The well-equipped, three-row SUV that provides seating for up to eight, offers comfort features such as available heated and ventilated front seats, available leather-appointed seating, and the available Dual SkyScape two-panel power sunroof to let the sun and breeze in or offer passengers a glimpse of the night sky, amplifying the already spacious feeling of the cabin.
Modern connectivity features courtesy of the standard Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System with 7-inch diagonal color touch screen to keep everyone entertained and in-touch with the outside world include a standard 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth audio streaming for two active devices, and smartphone integration via Apple Car Play and Android Auto.
Connecting with those in the cabin is possible, too.
“Little road and wind noise makes its way inside, letting you hold a conversation with other passengers easily,” Siwik adds.
