Consumer Reports Worst New Cars of 2014 List Tallies Least of the Least
If there’s ever a tool that is of particular use to a new car shopper, it’s the multitude of annual “Best X” lists that some of the world’s foremost automotive experts serve up for the car-buying public. But for those of us who love a good dose of schadenfreude, there’s the Consumer Reports Worst New Cars of 2014 list.
The Detroit Bureau has the full Consumer Reports Worst New Cars of 2014 list, and boy can you ever expect to see a lot of Chrysler vehicles on there. In fact, Chrysler vehicles comprise more than a quarter of the whole list—three Jeeps, three Dodges, one Chrysler, and a partridge in a pear tree.
The list of the worst 2014 vehicles you can buy, according to CR any way, is as follows:
Wagons & minivans
Jeep Cherokee with 2.4-liter engine
Midsize & large SUVs
Range Rover Evoque
Let us know: are any of you out there owners of one of these unfortunate vehicles? Maybe you even think that your ride has gotten a bad rap? Either way, we want to hear from you; leave us a comment and let you know how yours has treated you thus far.
