Custom 2018 Chevrolet Silverado Up for Grabs in NASCAR Contest
Now through Nov. 18, NASCAR fans can enter a contest to win a fan-built 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.
Participants can submit an entry every day in the NASCAR Playoffs sweepstakes. They can also get 10 additional entries per week using a code that’s released during each race day broadcast.
There’s more, too — each week until the end of the contest, entrants can also vote on a custom accessory to add to the Silverado. For example, this week’s options are a brake system upgrade, a dual-exhaust system upgrade, and black chrome dual exhaust tips.
At the end of the contest, the truck will be customized with the winning accessories from each week of voting. Fans have already voted to equip the truck with a 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 engine, a trailering camera system, a spray-on bedliner, 22-inch wheels, a silver paint job, and more.

The contest prize may not be the all-new 2019 Silverado, but the 2018 model is still a pretty great truck. With seven trims, three engine options, and numerous cab size and bed size combinations, it’s easily customizable for everything from weekend adventures to heavy hauling.
The 2018 Silverado is plenty capable too, with a maximum towing capacity of 12,500 pounds when properly equipped. Its exterior offers practical standard features like daytime running lamps, a locking tailgate, recovery hooks, and a CornerStep bumper. Inside, the standard 7-inch touch-screen infotainment system features Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone compatibility, voice recognition, and a backup camera.
