DeNiro and e-Niro Make Cool Pair in Campaign
Two-time Oscar-winning actor Robert DeNiro is the front man of a new advertising campaign in Europe that promotes the eco-friendly Kia e-Niro. The campaign, set to launch in November, celebrates the all electric crossover, which boasts a long-driving range — approximately 615 kilometers in the city and a total of 485 kilometers, all on one charge.

“The communication plan for the e-Niro will be as special as the car itself. These advertisements will draw on Robert De Niro’s unique ability to entertain, as he educates drivers about the e-Niro — a car that breaks down many of the obstacles to electric vehicle ownership in a way that few others have,” said Artur Martins, vice president for marketing and product planning at Kia Motors Europe.
The e-Niro, which will be available for purchase in Europe near the end of the year, was revealed to European drivers at the recent Paris Motor Show. The e-Niro is equipped with a high-capacity 64kWh lithium-ion polymer battery and the 312-km driving range-rated 39.2 kWh power pack. With the 100kW fast charger, drivers can get back on the road with an 80 percent-charged battery in approximately 54 minutes.
