Like other police vehicles in Dubai’s fleet, the 918 Spyder has been given a special green and white paint job, and while this 918 Spyder would be more than capable of chasing down criminals, its main purpose is for promotional usage, which includes charity events and press conferences. This vehicle will also be used as a recruitment tool.
The 2016 Porsche 918 Spyder comes equipped with a 4.6-liter V8 engine, which is combined with front and rear electric motors to produce 887 horsepower and 949 lb-ft of torque. The 918 Spyder has a reported top-speed of 214 mph and is capable of accelerating from 0-to-60 mph in only 2.5 seconds.

The starting MSRP of the 2016 Porsche 918 Spyder is $845,000. In addition, the 918 Spyder receives EPA-estimated fuel efficiency of 67 MPGe combined.
The Dubai police’s fleet of supercars may only be rivaled by the exotic car collection of retired boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., who recently added a $3.5 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse to his personal collection.
Only time will tell whose car collection ends up becoming the most expensive and luxurious.
