Chevrolet announced today that it will be debuting an enhanced version of its myChevrolet mobile app at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The automaker says that the upgraded myChevrolet will allow convenient control and management of the vehicle.

In 2016, the current capabilities of the myChevrolet and the OnStar RemoteLink apps will be combined, to provide drivers with easier mobile access to roadside assistance, owner’s manual content, parking reminders, vehicle diagnostics, WiFi hotspot management, and key fob commands, such as door lock/unlock and remote start command.

The myChevrolet app debuting at CES 2016 will also premiere a new, customizable user experience, which will allow users to create their own app home screen by ordering the tabs that they use most often and removing the ones that they don’t.

“The myChevrolet app will be the most comprehensive vehicle app available—and will support the ownership experience over the life of the vehicle,” said Chevy marketing vice president Paul Edwards. “By integrating OnStar RemoteLink features into the myChevrolet app, we’re creating a one-stop-app for owners to manage their vehicle with one user profile and unified log-in.”

According to GM, Chevorlet owners used the OnStar RemoteLink app over 50 million times this year, including 6 million requests in the month of November 2015 alone. The enhanced myChevrolet app will integrate RemoteLink features into a more comprehensive app that also enables users to contact roadside assistance, schedule maintenance, set parking reminders and more.

The myChevrolet app will be available on certain 2010 and new Chevy vehicles sold in the US and Canada.
