FastLane Launches GM Sustainability Video
Almost all automakers are working hard to reduce their overall carbon footprints, and it’s not just through increasing the fuel efficiency of their vehicles. Automakers are also looking at how they can improve processes at factories and reduce waste. General Motors is no exception, with 111 landfill-free facilities across the globe—and counting. Just yesterday, GM’s Toledo plant was awarded a national pollution prevention award from the National Pollution Prevention Roundtable.
But spouting off facts and statistics over and over again wasn’t cutting it for GM’s sustainability blog, FastLane. Instead, the team put together a GM sustainability video to demonstrate just how committed General Motors is to preserving our world for us, our children, our children’s children, and beyond.
Check out the GM sustainability video below to see how the sustainability team at GM is working toward the ultimate goal of zero waste.
