FCA Canada Earns Three Top Awards From 2020 Le Guide de l’auto
2020 hasn’t started yet, but FCA Canada is already looking at an award-winning year. Three of its models, the Ram 1500, Jeep Gladiator, and Chrysler Pacifica (which is manufactured in Canada) earned top honors for their segments, Full-Size Pickup Truck, Compact and Midsize Pickup, and Minivan, respectively, from the 2020 Le Guide de l’auto/The Car Guide Best Buy Awards. Both the Ram 1500 and Chrysler Pacifica are repeat winners.

“Segment leadership and innovation are pillars for every vehicle we make, from pickup trucks to our Windsor-built minivans,” said Reid Bigland, President and CEO, FCA Canada. “This trio of awards from Le Guide de l’auto shows that our products are breaking through the noise and resonating with critics alongside a great endorsement for consumers.”
In this year’s awards, the editors judged vehicles according to six categories — driving experience, fuel economy, safety, reliability, and infotainment — to arrive at the winners.
The 2020 Ram 1500 offers drivers a new choice to power their truck with the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine, which delivers 480 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped and powered by the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6, the 2020 Ram 1500 can tow a maximum of 12,560 pounds.
There’s no mistaking the 2020 Jeep Gladiator. The unique exterior design is complemented by the rugged capability synonymous with the Jeep brand.
The Chrysler Pacifica provides the gold standard in the minivan segment with the title of most awarded minivan three years in a row (2016, 2017, and 2018) thanks to innovative tech, advanced safety systems, and family-friendly features.
