Ford China’s sales were down 6% in July with a total of 77,100 vehicles delivered. While sales were down for the month, Ford remains at a good pace to overtake its sales record from 2014 with a total of 620,588 vehicles sold compared to 624,944 vehicles through the first seven months of last year.

Changan Ford Automobile totaled 55,748 sales in July, down 4% year-over-year. CAF’s sales through seven months are less than 2,000 units behind its total in 2014 with 452,726 units.
Jiangling Motors Corporation sold 17,109 vehicles in July, down 12% from the year prior. To date, JMC’s sales are just slightly ahead of the prior year’s seven-month total with 150,763 units sold.
Model-wise, the Ford Focus crossed the 150,000-unit mark in July with 154,195 units sold in seven months, all before the all-new and redesigned 2015 Ford Focus arrives in showrooms beginning this month.
Ford’s import vehicle sales were largely steady at 2,243 units sold, but sales are down 16.5% year-over-year.
