For 23 years, AutoPacific has been collecting unbiased information from vehicle owners about different makes and models across the auto industry. Its vehicle satisfaction survey measures 40 attributes of the owners’ vehicles, ranging from comfort and interior design to driving performance. This year, two Kia vehicles — the Forte and Cadenza — were honored by the organization.

The award-winning Kia Forte and the luxurious Kia Cadenza were both recognized in the Passenger Cars section of the Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. The Forte took the top spot in the Compact Car segment while the Cadenza claimed the Large Car segment. Having earned a Top Safety Pick Plus rating from the IIHS and being named the Best Small Car by MotorWeek, the already impressive Forte beat out some tough competition in its segment, including the Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra and Toyota Corolla.

“Kia continues to position itself as a leader in design, quality, technology and value, and the AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards are positive proof that we’re developing world-class products that exceed customer expectations,” said Michael Cole, chief operating officer and executive vice president of Kia Motors America.

AutoPacific acquired surveys from more than 50,000 owners of 2018 and 2019 vehicles that were purchased from September through December of 2018. From there, they were asked to evaluate their vehicles on categories like fuel economy, interior comfort, user-friendliness and more.

“Winning AutoPacific’s Best in Class Vehicle Satisfaction Award takes a special kind of vehicle. This year the Kia Forte Compact Car and Kia Cadenza Large Car out-pointed their competitors,” said George Peterson, President of AutoPacific, Inc. “Kia owners are very satisfied with the products they have acquired and the value they represent.”

This recognition is yet another example of Kia’s commitment to creating quality vehicles that last for years. With a wide range of vehicles across all segments, you can’t go wrong with a Kia.
