Keeping the Whole Family Safe During the Drive: Tips for driving with your kids
Unbiased shopping
OnStar Insurance Services, a new GM agency, will be the sole provider of the new insurance. This agency and its insurance carrier partners aim to make insurance shopping a fair process by placing emphasis on good driving habits and vehicle usage instead of on factors that you can’t control.
Digital access
You will be able to shop for OnStar Insurance entirely online. While doing so, if you have any questions or need any help, you will be able to speak with one of the agents who will be waiting to assist you.
Driving recommendations
OnStar Insurance Services will also combine driving behavior analyses with other advanced technologies to give recommendations on how to improve your driving. If you manage to correct bad habits and develop safer ones, you may be eligible for discounts.
Collision assistance
If you have both the OnStar Insurance and the OnStar Safety & Security plan, you will also receive additional assistance in emergency situations. In the event of a car accident, Automatic Crash Response will detect the collision and inform an OnStar Emergency-certified Advisor. This advisor will then notify first responders about your situation.
