General Motors was honored with the Overall Loyalty to Manufacturer award from IHS Automotive in its annual Automotive Loyalty Awards this week. Three of its products—the Chevrolet Corvette and Colorado and the GMC Yukon Denali XL—also earned awards for being at the top of their segments for loyalty among customers.

“GM’s commitment to putting the customer at the center of everything we do is absolute and we know that is key to building owner loyalty,” said Alan Batey, president of General Motors North America. “Our brands have done a tremendous job of drawing customers back to our showrooms by earning their trust with exceptional products and ownership experiences.”

The Corvette was named tops in the Luxury Sports Car Segment for the second consecutive year, the Colorado topped the Non-Luxury Mid-Size Pickup segment, and the GMC Yukon Denali XL topped the Non-Luxury Full-Size SUV segment. The tendency of these vehicles and numerous other Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac models to retain customers was a significant factor in GM winning the overall award.
