Hertz Celebrates Its 100th Anniversary with a Special Edition Chevrolet Corvette Z06

Usually when you rent a car from a company like Hertz, you end up with a pretty plain passenger sedan. You’re much more likely to receive a Chevy Cruze than a Corvette. Now, Hertz is pulling out all the stops for its 100th anniversary, allowing a select group of customers to rent a special edition Chevrolet Corvette Z06.

Only 100 of these Hertz 100th Anniversary Edition Corvette Z06 models will be available for customers to rent out, and only in the following cities: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Orlando, San Diego, San Francisco, and Tampa.
The rentals will only be offered with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Corvette Z06 is able to produce 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque with this transmission.
Adding some style to your vacation
The Hertz 100th Anniversary Edition Corvette Z06 is marked by a bright yellow exterior with black stripes, the signature colors of Hertz. That color scheme continues inside with custom black leather seating and yellow stitching.
Passengers will be able to interact with a standard 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, as well as a 10-speaker Bose audio system. Furthermore, each Hertz 100th Anniversary Edition Corvette Z06 vehicle includes a centennial anniversary plaque within the cabin to commemorate 100 years of the Hertz rental service.
