Honda has been racking up trophies this month, thanks to the many popular vehicles in its lineup. But the latest accolade is not for any one specific model, but for the sum whole of the automaker’s output, with Honda being named 2017 Best Value Brand by Kelley Blue Book.

This marks the third consecutive year that Honda has been recognized as the Best Value Brand: Non-Luxury Brand in KBB’s 2017 Brand Image Awards.

Once again, the Kelley Blue Book Brand Image Awards praised Honda vehicles for their reliability, refinement, and exceptional resale value.

“Offering a special blend of reliability, refinement and outstanding resale value unmatched by any other automaker, just about every vehicle Honda makes is among the best-selling, best-reviewed vehicles in its segment,” KBB.com editors wrote. “More than a great car at a fair price, Honda’s value story is magnified by exceptional resale values that put more money back in owners’ pockets when it’s time to sell.”

The Kelley Blue Book Brand Image Awards recognize automobile manufacturers’ successes in fostering and retaining brand attributes that car buyers appreciate and pay attention to when they are shopping for a new car or truck.

While Honda was recognized as the Best Value Brand: Non-Luxury Brand of 2017, the nod for 2017 Best Value Brand: Luxury Brand went to Buick, which was praised for its comfortable and quiet automobiles.

KBB also gave awards for Best Overall Brands, Most Trusted Brands, Best Value Brands, Most Refined Brands, Best Performance Brands, Best Styling Brands, and Best Overall Truck Brand. To see the complete list of winners, go to KBB.com.
