The 2020 Corvette C8 is a stunning car. Sleek lines, sculpted edges, and an intense powertrain make the iconic car a driver’s dream. Pure automotive eye-candy, the 2020 Corvette also boasts distinct features. One of note is the “toothy” grin that emerges when the hood is popped.

“The new mid-engine Corvette gets a front hood that reminds us a bit of a shark mouth, or maybe the Stingray badge as well. Either way, it’s definitely different. Rather than some boring straight or curved hood edge, the designers gave the frunk this cool edged design that adds even more aggression to the 2020 Corvette,” reports GM Authority writer Jonathan Lopez.

Another design quirk of the 2020 Corvette C8 involves its mirrors, according to Keith Cornett, writer at Corvette Blogger.

“If you stand directly behind or in front of the car, you will notice that the passenger side mirror sticks out a bit further than the driver’s side mirror,” Cornett writes. “That’s due to the drivers seating position as well as the height of the rear fenders. To get a look around those rear haunches, the passenger side mirror has to stick out a bit further. What surprised us was that it’s a full two-inches longer than the mount that holds the driver’s side mirror.”

A notable distinction that’s on the inside of the 2020 Corvette is its available cargo space.

“Between the front trunk and rear cargo space behind the engine, the new Vette can hold up to 12.6 cubic feet of stuff, or as GM points out, enough space to accommodate two sets of golf clubs,” reports Lopez. “That ain’t too shabby considering the front-engine Corvette C7 Coupe maxed out at 15 cubic feet of cargo room, which means the C8’s mid-engine configuration only takes off 2.4 cubic feet of storage between the two generations.”
