Infiniti Sales Up 8.8 Percent in April
Infiniti posted sales totaling 9,979 vehicles for April, marking an 8.8% year-over-year increase. The month brings Infiniti’s current year-to-date total to 43,821 vehicles, which is 8.5% better than sales through the first four months of 2014.
The Infiniti Q50 led the way with 2,991 units sold, a 13.9% improvement good for the model’s best April ever. Sales of the QX60 totaled 2,829 units, good for a 24% year-over-year gain and other best April ever.
Also contributing to a solid moth of sales was the Q70 and its newest variant, the long-wheelbase Q70L. With their powers combined, the Q70 added sales totaling 763 units, good for a 114.9% year-over-year gain.
The QX80 was up 8.7% with sales totaling 1,025 units, and the QX70 contributed sales totaling 436 units. Despite being down 10% year-over-year, the Q40 was strong with 1,371 sales. All told, Infiniti cars performed 2.8% better than they did in April 2014, but utilities were up 17.2%.
To date, the Q50 and QX60 have led the way for Infiniti throughout 2015, piling up sales totaling 13,507 vehicles and 11,634 vehicles, respectively.
