New Orleans, Louisiana

New Orleans may be most known for Mardi Gras and its fun nightlife, but there’s also a lot of unique sites to see during the day. The French Quarter has lovely architecture that makes you feel like you’ve left the county. Plus, the above-ground cemeteries like St. Louis Cemetary No. 1 are interesting to wander through.

Savannah, Georgia

Savannah is a beautiful city to take a peaceful stroll through. Forsyth Park has lots of natural scenery that make it great for picnicking and bike riding. Savannah is also home to the largest U.S. National Historic Landmark District, which has many churches and museums to visit.

Lake Tahoe, California

If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in nature, you can’t go wrong with Lake Tahoe. You can hike up the Eagle Rock Trail for incredible views, or you can spend the entire time swimming, kayaking, or paddleboarding in the large expanse of water.

Vail, Colorado

A lot of people think of Colorado as a winter destination, thanks to its ski-worthy mountains. However, Vail is a great place to explore near the end of summer. There are many hiking trails by beautiful wildflowers. There’s even a mountain coaster and gondola for fun ways to take in the scenery.
