American Honda Motor Co. has revealed Honda’s April 2015 sales figures, with Honda and Acura vehicle sales totaling 130,068 units last month. The automaker’s Honda Division made up 115,194 of those vehicles, representing a 2.7% decrease for the month compared to April of 2014.

Honda still had much to be happy about, though, particularly in the continuously growing light trucks segment, which rose 2% on 52,635 total sales, setting a new April record. The CR-V also enjoyed record April sales, with a 3.4% gain and nearly 30,000 units moved last month. And the outgoing 2015 Pilot had another strong month, posting 11,222 sales for an impressive 28% April increase.

There was also some success to be had in the Japanese automaker’s car sales. Although the Accord and CR-Z both suffered double digit percentage drops, the Civic managed to increase its sales by 2.8%, despite the overall shrinking sedan market. The Fit saw a monumental 55.6% increase, posting sales of 6,529 units.

“With the CR-V and current Pilot selling so well, and the HR-V and all-new Pilot soon entering the market, our truck lineup is set to drive a very strong 2015 for the Honda brand,” said Honda Division senior vice president and general manager Jeff Conrad. “Though the scales are definitely tipped toward trucks at the moment, we’re really pleased at how Fit, Civic and Accord continue to outperform their rivals in the retail marketplace.”
