For the second straight year, the Lincoln Navigator reigns as the top-rated luxury SUV in AutoPacific’s Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. The Navigator helped propel Lincoln to the Highest Satisfaction Premium Brand award in the 2020 VSAs, solidifying the brand as one of the best according to customers.

The AutoPacific 2020 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards determine owner satisfaction with their new vehicles based on 27 different factors. The 24th edition of the awards surveyed over 73,000 new vehicle owners, asking them to rank their vehicles for everything from design to comfort to technology to performance.

And when it came to luxury vehicles, no brand was more beloved by drivers than Lincoln. According to AutoPacific, Lincoln earned top scores for handling, ride comfort, and quietness, which lines up with the brand’s ubiquitous Quiet Flight branding. Lincoln also nabbed top scores for safety thanks to Lincoln Co-Pilot360 and tied atop the Brand Reputation category.

Navigator scores for performance, user experience

As for the top-rated luxury SUV, the 2020 Lincoln Navigator earned high marks for power, acceleration, and fuel economy. Another key point with customers is the user experience — the Navigator earns plaudits for “simple to understand gauges and controls … a model of simplicity in a segment where button overload due to high feature content is often a problem.”

“Being awarded the highest satisfaction for the overall brand is an honor, and the Navigator showcases the very best of Lincoln as it continues its streak as most awarded luxury SUV in its class,” said Michael Sprague, North America director, Lincoln.

It’s been a banner couple of months for Lincoln and the Navigator. Earlier this summer, the Navigator topped its segment in the J.D. Power U.S. APEAL Study for a third year in a row. Lincoln finished second overall in the study, which similarly ranks the connection between driver and vehicle.
