Lincoln MKX, MKZ Hybrid Win Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America Awards
Lincoln yet again scored high marks in Vincentric’s annual Best Fleet Value in America awards. The Lincoln MKZ Hybrid Premiere snagged its fifth win in the luxury hybrid vehicle category, and the Lincoln MKX Premiere took home its second prize in the luxury mid-size SUV/crossover category.
The 2018 Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America awards are determined through the analysis of eight different factors that make up a fleet vehicle’s cost-of-ownership. These factors are depreciation, fees and taxes, financing, fuel costs, insurance costs, maintenance costs, opportunity cost, and repair costs. The factors are weighed in 28 different ownership and mileage scenarios, ranging from 24 months to 60 months of ownership and 10,000 to 40,000 annual miles.
“As more manufacturers make a focused effort marketing to the fleet industry, buyers have an increasing number of high quality vehicles from which to choose,” said Vincentric President, David Wurster. “Fleet operators can use our awards to narrow their choices and identify the vehicles that bring the best value to their selector list.”
The Lincoln MKZ Hybrid Premiere FWD scored its segment award thanks to the lowest insurance and repair costs and best fuel economy among luxury hybrids. It also placed below the segment average in terms of depreciation, fees and taxes, financing, maintenance, and opportunity cost.
The Lincoln MKX Premiere FWD offered the lowest insurance cost, repair cost, and fixed cost in its segment. It also placed below the segment average in depreciation, fees and taxes, financing, fuel costs, maintenance costs, and opportunity cost.
