Mercedes-Benz Debuts its Luxury Vehicle Subscription Service in Atlanta
To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the launch of its luxury subscription service, Mercedes-Benz has expanded Mercedes-Benz Collection to Atlanta, where the brand’s headquarters is located. The high-end service was previously only available in Nashville and Philadelphia, offering subscribers the opportunity to drive in style for an allotted time period.

“The pilot program far exceeded our expectations. Eighty-two percent of the subscribers are new to Mercedes-Benz, and we are hitting the mark attracting younger drivers who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the brand at such a young age,” said Adam Chamberlain, vice president of sales for MBUSA. “Interestingly, families and couples are equally accessing the service whether for use as their primary car, for fun or as a way to test drive a wide variety of models.”
The service works via a mobile app (available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store), where users create an account with their credit card and photo of their driver’s license, and choose a plan that they prefer. Once the information is verified, subscribers are then contacted to determine their vehicle needs and desired delivery date, time, and location. After the first delivery, subscribers can then use the app to make additional requests, including choosing among over 50 Mercedes-Benz model variants.

Currently, there are three plans to choose from: Signature, Reserve, and Premier. Prices can range from $1,095 to $2,995 per month, depending on the subscriber’s location and plan. With the service now in Atlanta, Mercedes will be launching a new tier that solely consists of the brand’s high-performance AMG models. If the new plan is received well, it could be introduced to the Nashville and Philadelphia markets in the near future. More details about the program can be found on the Mercedes-Benz website.
